Wolves vs Liverpool match preview

Wolves have won 3, drawn 3 and lost 1 of their last 7 games  whilst Liverpool have lost 6 of their last 7. The reverse fixture was won 4-0 by Liverpool with 4 Liverpool corners, 6 Wolves corners and 1 yellow card for each team. Liverpool league form has completely fallen off now with their only win in their last 7 games coming against relegation bound Sheffield United. They ha e failed to score in 3 of their last 4 and look a shadow of the team that won the league last season. Wolves have turned a corner in recent weeks, and whilst their recent form is nothing to write home about they do look to be playing better and more confident as a footballing side. That being said Wolves are still yet to convince this season, they have been very inconsistent and have only scored more than 2 goals in a game once all season, their inconsistencies is reflected by the fact they have not had more than a 2 game winning streak or a 2 game losing streak at any point this season. It makes this quite a tough game to weigh up as you have an inconsistent Wolves side against a Liverpool side who are shockingly out of form but still have the class to win this game 4-0 just like they did in the reverse fixture. Wolves have scored in 4 of their last 5, and whilst Wolves have kept 4 clean sheets in their last 9 games, they have only kept 8 clean sheets in their 28 league games this season so don’t exactly convince as a team who have it figured out defensively. Liverpool have no field to score in 8 of their last 13 games and have only kept 1 clean sheet in their last 10 games, conceding an average of 1.50 goals per game in those 10 games. Liverpool average 7.28 corners per game in their last 14 games and have hit double figures on their own in 4 out of those 14 games. Wolves average 5.91 corners per game in their last 12 games and have had 5 corners or more in 9 of those games. Wolves have only been given 1 yellow card in their last 3 games, though in the 18 games before these last 3 they had been given at least 1 card in all of them and they averaged 1.94 yellow cards a game in those 18 games so we still believe Wolves are a side who will pick up cards. Similar to Wolves Liverpool have only been given 2 yellow cards in their last 3 games, and those both came in their last game vs Fulham. Though before those 3 games Liverpool had been given at least 2 cards in 8 of their last 10 games. So whilst both teams have not picked up many cards in their last 3 games, we do believe that the fact these 2 have a history of picking up multiple bookings in games makes cards a good bet. With the makeup of this game we believe it is wise to keep risk low and reward high with your bets. We feel that this is a game that could be a real thriller. Wolves are 9 points clear of the drop zone which whilst they should be safe is not where they as a club want to be and with a wounded Liverpool coming to Molineux they will see this as a chance to not only pick up 3 points to really distance themselves from potentially being dragged into a relegation scrap and to pick up a morale boosting win that they could use as a spring board to end the season strong. Liverpool are in serious danger of missing out on European football all together and need to pick up a win simply to break this bad run. We feel this could lead to both teams being quite attacking and us getting a game that will deliver goals, corners and cards. If you are having a bet we believe a bet based around Both teams to score, over 2.5 goals, 4+ corners for each team and both teams to pick up a couple of bookings each will be a smart bet. As with a bet like this the odds will be big enough that you can keep stakes relatively low and still benefit if we are right, but the bet is not such a long shot that you need allot of luck. Check out are free tips section as we will be recommending a bet in this one if you struggle to pick one yourself.
