Burnley vs Aston Villa match preview

Aston Villa have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 8 games, whilst Burnley have failed to score in 4 of their last 7. Burnley games have been pretty low on goals all season, and in fact when these 2 teams met earlier in the season they drew 0-0. In that game they both had 1 yellow card and Villa won the corner battle 10-1. That brings us to this best bet for this game which appears to be Aston Villa to have most corners. They average nearly 3 corners per game more than Burnley, and giveaway 2 corners less than Burnley per game.

Chelsea vs Wolves match preview

Wolves have not won in their last 6 and have lost 4 of those 6 games. Wolves have also conceded at least 1 goal in all of their last 12 games. Chelsea have lost 5 and won 2 of their last 8 games. Chelsea have had 3 yellow cards given to them in all of their last 4 games. Wolves have had at least 1 booking in all of their last 12 games, and 2 or more bookings in 8 of those 12. Wolves opponents have had at least 1 booking in all of their last 10 games and have had 2 or more in 6 of those 10. Chelsea’s opponents have had at least 1 booking in 14 of their last 15 games and have had 2 or more bookings in 9 of those 15 games. Chelsea have had 40 corners in their last 5 games, whilst Wolves had had 42 corners in their last 6 games. There is an incredible bet to be had in this game, and it is bet 1 of our new football bank builder challenge. Both teams to have 3 or more corners and both teams to get at least 1 card is a clear standout bet. At 6/5 with Sky Bet that looks the standout bet of tonight’s Premier League games

Brighton vs Fulham match preview

Fulham have lost 3 and drawn 5 of their last 8 games, whilst Brighton have only won 1 of their last 10 games, though that win was last time out  against Leeds.  Fulham have seen 12 yellow cards and 2 red cards in their last 5 games. In the head to head match up earlier this season it finished 0-0, with 8 Brighton corners to 1 Fulham corners and just 1 Fulham booking. Although we have 2 teams at the bottom of the table it is an interesting match up as Brighton have looked the better team out of the 2 this season, though recently Fulham have found some sort of defensive stability which at least allowed them to stop losing games for a little while. It looks likely that both teams will see a booking each, and add this to the type of game it promises to be with 2 teams fighting for their Premier League lives and it would be no surprise to see a few cards in this one. The safest bet would seem to be Brighton to have more corners, as they average nearly 1.5 corners more than Fulham and giveaway a corner less per game. Add this to the fact they won the corners in the previous meeting between these 2 sides earlier this season by 8 to 1, and they are now the home team and should see the majority of possession. It looks likely that Brighton will have more corners

Everton vs Leicester match preview

Leicester are unbeaten in 6 and have won 4 of those, they have also scored 2 goals in 5 of their last 6 games. Everton are also in good form and have won 5 of their last 6 games. Everton have seen 26 yellows in their last 6 games, 14 for them and 12 for their opponents. Leicester have had at least 1 booking in all of their last 9 games and 2 or more in 7 of those 9.  When these 2 met earlier on in the season Everton won 2-0, there were 4 Leicester corners, 6 Everton corners, 2 Leicester yellow cards and 3 Everton yellow cards. The standout bet in this game looks to be 3+ corners each team and both teams to get at least 1 booking. Leicester are coming off the back of 2 clean sheets and Everton have kept 3 clean sheets in their last 6 games, so whilst this is the type of game people will look at as both teams to score, it is worth noting that both teams are in good defensive form as well. So the corners and cards angle look the best bet, with it seeming highly likely that both teams will see 3+ corners and at least 1 booking each.

Man United vs Sheffield United match preview

Sheffield United have only won 1 game all season, though they have only conceded 2 goals in their last 5 games. Man United are unbeaten in 13 League games and have won 10 of them. Sheffield United have had 21 yellows and 1 red card in their last 7 games, whilst Man United have had at least 1 booking in all of their last 9 games. So it looks likely both teams will see a player booked. Games between these 2 sides recently have been very eventful. In the meeting earlier this season Man United won 3-2, there were 3 Man United corners and 6 Sheffield United corners, and also 2 Man United yellow cards and 3 Sheffield United cards.  One interesting trend on this game is that Sheffield United have had 5 or more corners in all of their last 5 games, and Man United have given away 5 or more corners in 5 of their last 8 games, so it would be no surprise to see Sheffield United take 5 or more corners. If you follow the recent form of the head to heads it would be no surprise to see a high scoring game with corners and bookings for both sides. Though on recent form it would be no surprise to see Man United dominate the game and come away easy winners. This is definitely a game where there are bets to be had, though there does not appear to be a stand out bet other than Man United to come away with the win, though the chances of that are reflected in the prices.
