Man City vs West Ham match preview

Man City have won their last 13 whilst West Ham have won 7 of their last 9. When these sides met earlier this season it finished 1-1 with 2 West Ham corners, 10 City corners and 2 West Ham yellow cards. Both sides are in such good form and will be over the moon with their current league position. West Ham have scored 3 goals in 3 of their last 6 games. In West Hams last 23 games the only 3 sides who have beaten them are Liverpool (Twice) ,Man United and Chelsea. After scoring 14 goals in their last 7 games this is not a West Ham side who will roll over but it has to be said Man City have looked unplayable at times recently. 8 clean sheets in their last 10 games and 31 goals scored in their last 12 games has led to a winning run which will surely take them to The Premier League title. Goals looks a good bet but we do recommend backing total match goals rather than both teams scoring. Man City’s defensive record is incredible in recent games but West Ham have proved they know where the goal is. The gamble of will West Ham score or not looks a big risk to take whatever way you side. West Ham have had 3 or more corners in all of their last 18 games and City average just under 7 corners a game this season. So corners look a good bet though again we feel total match corners is the better bet as its difficult to predict how many West Ham corners there will be. Man City will control possession and territory for long periods so the number of chances for West Ham to win corners will be lower than they will normally have against other teams. Man City’s opponents have had 2 or more cards in 13 out of their last 14 games. Add this to the fact West Ham have been given 10 yellow cards in their last 5 games and it looks a good bet that West Ham could see a couple of cards. We expect an entertaining game and any bet based around 2/3 goals in the game, a double digit corners count and West Ham bookings looks to have a good chance.

West Brom vs Brighton match preview

West Brom have drawn 3 and lost 2 of their last 5 games whilst Brighton were beaten last time out to break a 6 game unbeaten run. When these two met earlier in the season it finished 1-1 with 6 Brighton corners, 2 West Brom corners and 2 Brighton yellow cards. Goals looks a risky bet, Brighton have kept 5 clean sheets in their last 7 games and have failed to score in 6 of their last 14 games. West Brom have failed to score in 6 of their last 12 games. Brighton have scored 2 or more goals in 8 of their last 10 games and for us would start as favourites to win this game. Recent wins against Spurs and Liverpool show Brighton are not a bad side and whilst West Brom have picked up some good draws, they have not proven that they can win games against any half decent side this season, with their only wins coming against Sheffield United and Wolves who have both massively struggled this season. We are confident that on form Brighton should not lose this game and playing them double chance could be a good strategy. It also looks very likely that Brighton will have the most corners. They average 8.5 corners a game in their last 6 games as they have had 51 corners and they gave away just 17 corners in those games. West Brom average just 2.12 corners a game in their last 8 games and they had 2 corners or less in 5 of those games. Cards is risky as Brighton have ended with no cards in 2 of their last 4 games and West Broms opponents have been given no cards in 4 of their last 7 games. So the best bets look to be Brighton to win or Brighton double chance with draw (Brighton not to lose) however Brighton to have the most corners looks the best bet.

Leeds vs Aston Villa

Aston Villa stats and averages

Leeds vs Aston Villa match preview

Leeds have won 8 and lost 8 of their last 16 games whilst Villa have lost 5, won 3 and drawn 1 of their last 9. The meeting earlier in the season was won 3-0 by Leeds with 6 Villa corners, 5 Leeds corners and 2 yellows for each team. Goals does look a good bet due to Leeds style of play which should bring the best out of both sides. Leeds have scored 13 goals in their last 7 games and have only kept 2 clean sheets in their last 9 games. Villa have scored in 10 of their last 12 and have conceded 12 goals in their last 9 games despite keeping 4 clean sheets in those 9 games. So both teams to score looks to have a great chance and it would be no surprise to see at least 3 goals in the game. Corners looks a standout bet as Villa average over 6 per game and giveaway an average of over 5 per game. Leeds average over 5 corners a game and giveaway an average of over 3. So it looks highly likely that both teams will have at least 3 or 4 corners and the match will hit double figures. Cards looks a risky bet due to the inconsistency both teams show in bookings. In Leeds last 3 games they have been given 2 or more cards in them all, but in the 4 games before that they were given just 1 card. Leeds opponents have finished with 9 cards in 3 of their last 6 games. So any bet based around goals, both teams to score, both teams to have 3 or more corners and a double digit corner count looks to be a smart bet.

Newcastle vs Wolves match preview

Newcastle have now lost 8 of their last 10 whilst Wolves have now won 3 of their last 4 games. When these two sides met earlier in the season it ended 1-1 with 2 Wolvers corners, 3 Newcastle corners and just 1 Newcastle yellow card. Wolves have found some form recently and whilst it may not be the prettiest or most impressive style, they are winning games again. Goals looks too risky to back. Newcastle have failed to score in 6 of their last 12 whilst Wolves have failed to score in 6 of their last 15 and have kept 3 clean sheets in their last 6 games. Wolves average 6.85 corners a game in their last 7 games as they have had 48 corners and they have had 6 or more corners in 6 of those games. Newcastle have had 39 corners in their last 6 games for an average of 6.5 corners per game even though in 1 of those games they finished with 0 corners. It looks a good bet that both teams should have at least 3 corners. Newcastle have been given 13 yellow cards and 1 red card in their last 7 games and they were given 2 or more cards in 4 of those games. Wolves have been given at least 1 card in all of their last 18 games and average just under 2 yellow cards per game in those 18 games. Wolves opponents have been given at least 1 card in 15 of their last 16 games and they were given 2 or more cards in 9 of those games. So the best bet looks to be both teams to have 3 or more corners and both teams to get at least 1 player carded.
